The Someone Gem

After posting my review of the campaign setting Dark Fate, the book's author Marcelo Paschoalin invited me to play World vs. Hero by e-mail in his world. Ironically, I took the role of the World Player, and the end result was one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences I've ever had! The Someone Gem is our game - exactly as we played it. Marcelo has taken our 100+ e-mails and formatted them into a professionally designed e-book with annotations along the way to document what we were pondering at the time. (At one point, I noted the thrill of being in a cab in Manhattan while using my phone to game a suspenseful scene with a player in Brazil!) The World vs. Hero game engine makes playing by e-mail very easy, but an opponent like Marcelo Paschoalin - the world-creator himself - makes any game an event!
